Afternoon : USS Midway Museum – a real aircraft carrier…fun for the family, once in a lifetime memory for everyone! Create a once in a lifetime memory exploring the USS Midway, the longest-serving U.S. Navy  aircraft carrier of the 20th century! Imagine living aboard a floating city at sea with 4,500 shipmates, by exploring galleys, officer’s country, sleeping quarters and the 4 acre flight deck. Admission includes a self-guided audio tour to over 60 locations from the engine room to control tower, narrated by Midway sailors who lived or worked in each.

Evening : On your next trip to San Diego you can be assured of two things: the weather will be amazing and you’ll discover lots to do at Seaport Village. Most any craving can be satisfied here. Dine at any of four bay-view dining restaurants. You can nibble, snack or chow down at more than a dozen smaller eateries. Surf and turf to burgers and pizza. Ice cream, cookies, popcorn. Thirst’s covered too – sodas, milkshakes, lemonade, beer, wine, cocktails and, well, too many drinks. One last decision to make: a table inside or out on the deck with a view of the bay?

Morning : San Diego Zoo is an urban paradise for all ages, the San Diego Zoo is a must-see in Southern California. Spend the day monkeying around in our tropical oasis as you visit amazing habitats for animals such as gorillas, tigers, sun bears, flamingos, mandrills, polar bears, birds of paradise, giant tortoises, leopards and more. Take a Panda Trek to visit the giant pandas and other animals that share their bamboo forest habitat. Discover the wonders of wildlife with animal encounters, interactive experiences, and keeper presentations. Afternoon : Enjoy lunch in Balboa Park before visiting its many cultural treasures, including 15 museums and the Tony Award-winning Old Globe Theater. The largest cultural complex west of the Mississippi and the largest, urban cultural park in the United States, Balboa Park is often referred to as the “Smithsonian of the West” for its vast concentration of major cultural institutions within its boundaries. Within its 1,200 lush acres are 85 cultural attractions including 15 museums, art galleries, sidewalk performers, the Tony Award-winning Old Globe Theatre, Starlight Bowl, sports facilities, the San Diego Zoo, the historic Spreckels Organ Pavilion and an abundance of lush gardens and trees.

Evening : Enjoy one of the many fine restaurants in downtown historic Gaslamp Quarter before checking out downtown’s exciting nightlife. The historic heart of downtown San Diego is the 16-block Gaslamp Quarter, founded in 1867 and home to many beautiful Victorian buildings that have since earned historic status. LEGOLAND® California Resort has a lot that’s new to make your visit the most memorable ever. This summer, play your part at Pirate Reef. Families choose the blue ship or the red ship and fire water cannons across the ships’ bows. To add to the excitement, you can join a buccaneer-filled boat as it races down a flume between the battling ships. The Resort features more than 60 rides, shows and attractions, including the new LEGO® STAR WARS™ Miniland area and the world’s first LEGOLAND Water Park with fun slides and a lazy river where you can build your own LEGO themed raft.
