Rolling in on the tour bus late? Not to worry! There’s plenty of fun to be had on your first night along the Honky Tonk Highway! Test out your karaoke skills at Hard Rock Café or put on your dancing shoes and head on over to Wildhorse Saloon where you can learn how to.

There’s no place better to begin your journey then with a personally guided tour of Historic RCA Studio B, Home of 1,000 Hits, where music legends recorded timeless songs. You’ll step behind the scenes to see what it was like to record an album. You’ll be inspired during your own recording session directed by a sound engineer in the exact place Elvis stood to record over 200 songs.

9:30AM
Then it’s off to the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum, where they can hear rare recordings of country’s legendary performers, see behind-the-scenes films by today’s stars, along with costumes, instruments, and personal treasures from country music’s past and present. While at the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum, experience Stories Behind the Songs: a 45-minute backstage look at the craft of songwriting.

12PM
All that touring and performing really works up an appetite! Head on down to Puckett’s Grocery for some delicious southern cookin’ or chow down on some sushi at Acme Feed & Seed. Looking for a local cold brew too? Sample some of the native beer at Tennessee Brew Works.

1:30PM
After lunch, your group will head backstage at the “Mother Church of Country Music,” the Ryman Auditorium! Your visit to this famous National Historic Landmark begins with, “Soul of Nashville,” a new state-of-the-art theater experience that puts you at the center of the Ryman’s fascinating history as more than a century of legendary performances come to life on all around you, showing you a behind the scenes look at one of Nashville’s most notable venues.

3PM
Take a backstage look at the life of the man in black and step inside The Johnny Cash Museum. This museum houses the largest collection of Johnny Cash artifacts and memorabilia in the world and showcases the life of the Cash family.

4PM
Take your stage at the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum and embrace your inner musician! See what it takes to write, produce, record, and perform like a Grammy award winning artist at their new interactive Grammy Gallery. This is the one and only museum in the world that honors the talented musicians who actually played on the greatest recordings of all time.

8:30PM
Hear from the songwriters behind the hits during a songwriters round at The Listening Room Café or the infamous Bluebird Café. Here you can listen to the stories that inspired some of today’s chart-topping music from the authors themselves. Ask what happens backstage and they may just sing you a hit written minutes before a live show!

Continue your journey backstage to a behind the scenes look at how Tennessee whiskey is made at tge Jack Daniel’s Distillery! Off the beaten path in Lynchburg, TN— the oldest registered distillery in the U.S. is where the magic of brewing this world-famous Tennessee whiskey happens. It’s where Mr. Jack first crafted the recipe for Old No. 7 and it’s where the pure, iron-free cave spring water flows. Most importantly, it’s where every drop of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Sippin’ whiskey is still made and bottled today.

Experience one last scrumptious Southern meal at Miss Mary Bobo’s. Lunch is served at 11am and 1pm Monday through Saturday. Today, the proprietress at Miss Mary’s is Jack Daniel’s great-grandniece, Lynne Trolley and many of her recipes include a little splash of Uncle Jack’s whiskey for flavor.

7PM
Head on back to Nashville and experience the Grand Ole Opry – Nashville’s must-see attraction and the world’s longest running live radio show. As the home of country music, the Opry offers an incredible mix of talent to create an American experience like no other! Opry Backstage Tours are a must see for everyone visiting Music City! Daytime and post-show tours are available.
